It hasn't been updated in a long time, but the owner of the channel is Paul Budzik a legend in the scale modelling world. The channel has a lot of different tutorials for kit building and scratch-building. With the Archive-X I mix it one to one with their thinner. I give the airbrush a push and then paint comes out for about three seconds. Then I have to stop, hit the air again and then I get another few seconds. Rinse and repeat. I've tried my pressure at various settings between 20 and 40. 

Is this a clogging issue because the paint is too thick? Why can't I seem to get a constant flow?  There are times when it does work the way it's supposed to but then I run out of paint and have to remix and then it starts all over again.

Call me FerrousBueller here I suppose. I'm a trained and certified blacksmith, leathersmith, sculptor and foundryman. I've done set and props for various big companies ranging from the one with the mouse to the one one ... who is also now with the mouse I suppose. I don't do that kind of stuff professionally anymore though and enjoy making cool things for the sake of making cool things now. 

I am old school when it comes to props, costumes and set construction but just got a Bambu P1S and admit it changed the way I make things significantly. Pair that with learning Blender and oh my. 

I should also mention I'm flighty as heck so forgive me if I don't always notice replies and disappear for months at a time]]>

I'm on the hunt for a Bandai 1/24 Panther G. I need a second full kit for my build. These used to pop up on eBay often enough but now I haven't seen one in a few months.

Danish Studio Scale and Prop builder .. more Studio Scale - Less Prop these days .... and I also dabble in a bit of Figure Painting and Scifi Model kits here and there.


My main areas for builds are Star Wars (Star Wars also being my dayjob as Design Manager in the LEGO Star Wars Team), Battlestar Galactica, Alien ... and would love to do some Trek at some point.


I've been in the community for +15 years ..... but not really finished a tremendous amount of projects ..... I tend to spend too much on researching and dreaming of new projects .... and less time on actually finishing projects .... would hope to change that in the near future  ... one can always dream, right]]>
Now why I didn't find this forum any sooner, will be forever a mystery to me .... but oh well .. better late than never I guess
