OFFER: Tamiya Texaco Marlboro M23 parts
#1
This kit is all the rage right now! I've found a decently priced (but still expensive!) kit but I'm reticent to take the plunge. If I could make it worth my while in trades, I will pursue it. For reference, I'm building the ANH TIE Fighter (I have a thread over at RPF under another, lazier username: https://www.therpf.com/forums/threads/op...ad.360022/)

The M23 contributes at least 11 parts to the TIE: C11 (cut into 3 parts), D47 (maybe D4 and D12), E24, E25, E26 (maybe E30), G7, G8, G29, H27.

The rest would be up for grabs. Anything from whole sprues to single parts.

This link shows what I've got and what I'm looking for to do a TIE build: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...=568617224

I would prioritize kits that tend to be expensive, but from which I only need one or a small number of parts. Not all of these are super-expensive kits, but the price/part ratio doesn't meet a certain threshold I'm trying to stay below. Those would include but are not limited to:

1. Airfix 1/25 P-51D Mustang (trying to resolve part number; can provide image)
2. Airfix 1/25 Harrier: (pilot figure)
3. Bandai 1/48 Anything with a Pz.Kw.V chassis (including Panther-G; Sd.Kfz173): B5, B8
4. Bandai 1/48 Any kits based on Panzerkampfwagen IV chassis (incl. Nashorn): A11
5. Hasegawa 1/450 Yamato (hey, a fella can dream), 3 parts (but they don't seem to be numbered on the sprue)
6. Tamiya 1/12 Datsun 240Z or 240ZG: C9
7. Tamiya 1/25 Centurion: C33, E1.
8. Tamiya 1/35 Schwerer Panzerspähwagen (8-Rad) Sd.Kfz. 232: D12, D27
9. Tamiya 1/35 US M10 (or M36 Jackson) Tank Destroyer: C2 (I believe it's the same sprue in both kits)

Let me know here if you have any interest.

Welp, I've just bought one of these (with the old C sprue) and this thread turns from a hypothetical to a genuine offer. So far, nobody has replied, so I suppose there's not much interest. But I remain willing to trade. However, I will be updating the poll because I have obtained some of the above.
